Adventure Overview

Hidden within the Limietberg Nature Reserve, high atop the Bainskloof Pass outside of Wellington is a magical network of waterfalls and glorious trails waiting for exploration! Designed as a abseiling adventure for beginners or those interested in trying out the sport in a beautiful natural setting, this is a weekend adventure geared for both avid trail lovers and anyone keen to experience the thrill of trying something new. Our adventure itinerary centers on guided trail exploration in the magnificent Happy Valley and a controlled descent with rope down one of the spectacular waterfalls in the Bobbejaans Rivier area. This is particularly spectacular in Summer when the colourful Disas and giant proteas are in bloom. Exploring pristine rockpools (and a bumslide if the water is high enough), and stopping for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature and the sound of birds calling is an experience worth traveling for! Fireside reminiscing on the spectacular scenery and incredible thrill of abseiling down a waterfall to a steaming hot chocolate finishes off the day perfectly. Step out of your comfort zone, explore something new, connect with friends through adventure! Fully catered and with all equipment supplied, Adventurers can expect fully certified abseil and trail guides to handle all the logistics and prep: rock up, gear up - enjoy!
